Remote monitoring and control
Now your maintenance personnel don't have to physically connect a cable to the programmable logic controller (PLC) for program updates, monitoring, and control. With Bluetooth communication configured in the PLC, personnel can easily connect for complete control of your machines using a laptop and/or the WindEDIT Lite app on their mobile devices. Machine status can be monitored remotely. PLC programs can easily be updated. And PLC firmware can be updated with the tap of a finger, ensuring that your machine is always up to date with the latest features.
Email and text message alert
IDEC's PLCs and human machine interface (HMI) operator interface can easily be configured to send email and text message alerts. Current status and logged data can also be attached to an email or text message for thorough analysis of your machines.
Cloud storage with WindeEDIT Lite app
Critical information and data from your machines can easily be transferred to the cloud database of your choice, including Dropbox, Google Drive, and iCloud, with the tap of a finger using the WindEDIT Lite app, connected to our PLC and HMI through a secured connection. You can keep historical data in the database, and program and firmware updates can be sent and retrieved through the app.
Web page visualization
Our automation products, PLC and HMI have a built-in web server, providing a secure remote connection. Web pages can be easily created with our unique Web Page Editor tool, which doesn't require HTML knowledge. Just drag and drop what you want on your site. With a library of over 10,000 symbol factory images, a visual graphical representation of your control panel can be constructed in minutes for seamless interface and control.
